Planning for Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique!

Our next family trip to Disney World is coming up in April. This will be my niece and nephew’s 3rd trip, and my niece’s first time to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique! Reese is more recently into princesses, previously it was all Moana all the time. My brother and sister in law have some friends joining us the first couple days of the trip with twin girls Reese’s age who are all about the princesses. My sister in law started planning early and made sure to snag a spot right at the 180 day mark.

Packages available range from the Crown package (starting at $75) all the way up to the Castle package (starting at $200) with a couple options in between. In typical Disney fashion there are also an assortment of additional “enchantments” at an additional price.  The Castle package is the one that includes the princess gown of your choice. But as we looked at this package a couple thoughts came to mind. First, you don’t get your AP/DVC discount on the dress with this package – but you WOULD if you bought a princess dress in a shop before arriving for your appointment. Second, our little princess has started building up quite the collection of princess outfits at home already. Either option will save some money on the day, one quite a bit.

We booked an early appointment, 9am, so the girls can show off all day. We also booked a character meal – although opted for Crystal Palace over Cinderella’s Royal Table as none of the girls are big eaters so we thought we’d save a little money.

I’m so excited to get to experience a new Disney experience through my niece’s eyes. I can’t wait to see which princess she decides to be made over into. She’s been on an Elsa kick lately. She got a gorgeous Aurora dress for Christmas. She also got an adorable Tinkerbell outfit she insisted on wearing most of Christmas day. Which will it be? Only a few more months until we find out!

Have you been to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique? What was your favorite thing about it?
